Carepa expands with a new facility

Carepa’s growth journey continues. Together with Catena, the company is developing a new office and warehouse facility adjacent to its existing premises at E-city in Ängelholm. The new site, which will be twice the size of the current facility, will meet today’s operational needs while providing excellent conditions for future growth.

"We have grown significantly over the past few years and now need to expand our logistics capacity. By moving into Catena’s modern logistics facility, we can continue our growth journey and further enhance our customer offering,” says Mats-Ola A. Schulze, CEO of Carepa.

The new facility, covering 7,000 square metres, will include expanded office and logistics space. Construction has now commenced, with the first groundbreaking recently completed. The ambition is for the building to achieve at least a BREEAM Very Good certification, and the roof will be prepared for the installation of solar panels. Construction began in the third quarter of 2022, with occupancy planned for 1 September 2023.

“We enjoy being located in this area. It offers many advantages,” says Mats-Ola A. Schulze.

The location adjacent to the E6 motorway is important not only from a logistics perspective but also when it comes to attracting and retaining employees.

At the same time, Carepa continues to invest in its Junior Management Board initiative, which provides young people with valuable insight into the work of a management team. Applications are currently open for those interested in joining the next generation of Junior Management Board participants.
