Carepa Junior Management Board – fourth cohort now underway
Carepa’s forward-looking initiative, Carepa Junior Management Board (CJMB), is now in its fourth year and has become an important part of the company’s CSR efforts. This year’s cohort consists of Elias Hylander, Gustav Lundin, and Isac Svensson, a smaller group with a dedicated focus on management and future strategy.
CJMB is a two-way mentoring programme that gives young talents the opportunity to contribute to and develop within a fast-growing company. Through in-depth interviews with selected customers and suppliers, this year’s participants gain unique insight into Carepa’s operations and strategic priorities. The programme creates valuable perspectives for both the participants and the company, further strengthening Carepa’s position as a modern and responsive market leader.
“We have seen how this collaboration provides new perspectives and ideas that help drive our strategic work forward, while also offering students a unique opportunity to understand and influence a business from close range,” says Johan Ludvigsson, COO of Carepa.
Isac Svensson, who studies Business Administration at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg and is one of this year’s participants, shares his thoughts on the programme:
“Being part of CJMB has been both educational and inspiring. It is unusual as a student to gain such close insight into a company’s strategic work while also being given the opportunity to contribute. By taking part in strategic discussions and seeing how decisions are made behind the scenes, we have gained a deeper understanding of corporate governance from a broader perspective. At the same time, it has provided valuable insights into leadership and business development that cannot be learned in the classroom.”
Carepa Junior Management Board mirrors the company’s executive management team and gives participants the opportunity to attend management and board meetings, as well as contribute to the development of strategic initiatives. The programme concludes in July, when participants present their recommendations and reflections to the company’s Board of Directors.
As part of the Bjäre Invest Group, Carepa remains committed to investing in young talent and developing the next generation of leaders. Through CJMB, the company creates a bridge between education and business, and looks forward to following this year’s participants on their continued journey.
