Carepa launches Carepa+ – an initiative for continued engagement after retirement

Carepa is launching a new strategic initiative, Carepa+, designed to enable continued engagement for employees who have retired but wish to remain involved and contribute their experience and expertise.

The initiative originated from a proposal by Johan Eklöf, one of the company’s experienced sales representatives, in connection with his upcoming retirement. It raised an important question: how can Carepa continue to benefit from the knowledge, relationships, and expertise of former employees while maintaining a strong connection with them? The answer became Carepa+ – a platform for knowledge sharing, relationship-building, and continued involvement.

Carepa is pleased to welcome the first members of Carepa+: Kenth Andersson and Mats Olsson, two colleagues whose long-standing experience and valuable contributions have played an important role in the company’s development.

Carepa+ complements the company’s existing initiative, the Carepa Junior Management Board, through which young talents are given the opportunity to work closely with the management team in a two-way mentoring programme.

Together, these initiatives reflect Carepa’s ambition to foster a sustainable and inclusive working life where both experience and fresh perspectives are valued. By bringing generations together and encouraging the exchange of knowledge, Carepa continues to strengthen its position as a modern employer with a long-term perspective.
