Kranpunkten introduces two additional electric trucks

As part of its journey towards becoming a climate-neutral business by 2030, Kranpunkten put its first electric truck into operation in the spring of 2022. Specially adapted for the loading, unloading, and transportation of access platforms, the vehicle has contributed to cleaner and quieter deliveries of Kranpunkten’s rental equipment in central Gothenburg. Following the success of this initiative, Kranpunkten has taken the next step by introducing two additional electric trucks for sustainable equipment transportation in Stockholm and Malmö.

The primary benefits of electric-powered transport are reduced climate impact through zero carbon emissions and significantly lower noise levels. This creates a better working environment for drivers while also reducing disturbance at customer worksites in metropolitan areas.

“The use of electric trucks for equipment transport is an important measure in reducing Kranpunkten’s environmental footprint within the area of our operations that has the greatest impact on the climate. Our experience with the first electric truck in Gothenburg has shown that our customers also place a high value on the opportunity to receive more sustainable deliveries,” says Andreas Wåhlander, Regional Manager, Kranpunkten West.
