Kranpunkten invests in climate-smart solutions
With continued strong demand, Kranpunkten was able to take further steps towards becoming a climate-neutral business despite the pandemic. The company’s 2021 investment programme included more than 200 machines, the majority of which were powered by electricity or hybrid technology, helping to reduce its climate footprint. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Kranpunkten’s rental operations remained relatively limited. Demand for lifting equipment within both construction and industry, across projects of all sizes, remained stable throughout the year. Supported by sustained profitability and a strong financial position, the conditions for advancing Kranpunkten’s sustainability agenda remained highly favourable. The 2021 investment plan comprised more than 200 machines, including boom lifts, scissor lifts, truck-mounted platforms, and telehandlers. The programme, which was completed in full, formed part of the company’s long-term strategy for sustainable growth.
The environmental aspects of Kranpunkten’s sustainability programme include initiatives to reduce emissions from both equipment and transport, phase out environmentally and health-hazardous substances, and decrease energy consumption and waste generation.
Through a combination of long-term strategic planning and short-term operational initiatives, the company remains committed to achieving full climate neutrality.

That is why we maintain a close dialogue with a select group of carefully chosen suppliers who share our values.
