Willab named Company of the Year in Båstad Municipality
At the Båstad Business Awards 2026, Willab AB was named Company of the Year, an award presented to businesses that contribute to development, employment, and long-term value creation within the municipality.
In the jury’s motivation, Willab was highlighted as an inspiring company with deep roots in the business community of the Bjäre Peninsula. From modest beginnings, the company has grown into a modern and expanding organisation, combining organic growth with strategic acquisitions. Willab was recognised for successfully combining tradition and innovation, supported by strong values, active leadership, a positive corporate culture, and a committed ownership approach. The jury also emphasised the company’s contribution to local employment, business development, and its role as a proud representative of the region.
Willab is part of the Grevieåsen Group, which in turn is part of the Bjäre Invest Group, and has contributed to a business culture characterised by collaboration and a long-term perspective.
